Ideally located if you love the outdoors, the cottages overlook the Trans Pennine Trail and are less than an hours drive from Hathersage, the centre of Peak District walking country. Dogs are welcome.
Local walks are plentiful through stunning countryside as seen in "Last of the Summer Wine" (Filmed in Holmfirth 6 miles away).
Nearby attractions include Holmfirth, Chatsworth and Harewood House, Bakewell and Buxton. But if you're missing the bright lights of city life, Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester are no more than 40 minutes drive away, all with a wide selection of high quality shops and a vibrant nightlife.
There is an excellent choice of country pubs and restaurants within easy reach for evening entertainment, giving you the chance to sample the local ales and of course the famous Yorkshire Pudding!
