Within 700 acres of open countryside and situated in an elevated position with panoramic views over the Peak District Smallshaw Farmhouse and Cottages provides the perfect location for discerning couples looking for a special and unique venue to hold their wedding reception.

We offer sole and exclusive use of our 5 star accommodation and facilities for you and your guests. Our facilities include a luxurious hot tub/spa and a unique barbeque house surrounded by beautiful gardens and patio areas.

We can accommodate 19 people in our four luxurious cottages (Rowan and Birch Cottage sleep 4/5 and Bramble Cottage sleeps 2) and the latest addition The Farmhouse (Sleeps 6/7).    The Farmhouse features a stunning bridal suite with unrivalled views towards the moors of the Peak District.

As part of the wedding package we offer a tailor made 3 night stay, this begins from the Friday to the following Monday. This gives you time to enjoy the surroundings, relax in the hot tub, catch up in the barbeque house and enjoy the excitement running up to your special day, usually held on the Saturday. (However we are flexible with days and lengths of stay).

We live on site and are on hand at all times of the planning/ organising process. We are here to answer any questions, respond to requests and fine tune all the details for your special day. 

The reception is held in a marquee (the type of marquee as chosen by yourselves) in the well kept grounds with vistas all round.

We can work with you to your specific requirements, as well as hire of the land we offer a bespoke bar service working closely with you to provide the type of bar and drinks you would like for your reception.

Smallshaw Farm Cottages offers a unique package where you can choose your own marquee, flowers, live music or disco, catering from canapés/ buffet, to a fully serviced sit down meal. 

Prices start from £2,490, this includes accommodation based on a 3 night stay (19 guests) and the hire of the land as well as electric supply to the marquee.
